CONTENTS
LESSONS
This intensive course allows the student to have 5 daily work sessions for less than 100€ per day: 1. BREATHING: Contents and development Daily from 09:30 to 10:00. Group workshop (30') for breathing exercises to strenghten the muscles for a good air use, favouring the working of the diafragma and widening pulmonar capacity. Exercises will be carried out on the floor so we recommend to bring a towel or like. 2. VOCAL TECHNIQUE Contents The student needs to dominate the instrument´s physiological mechanism for a good result and avoiding vocal effort. We will work voice projection, resonance, legato, agilities... Development Individual session (30') to work on the student´s needs and vocal features trough vocalizing and specific exercises. 3. MUSICAL INTERPRETATION Contents Work on style, diction, phonetics and transmission of the poema/lyrics contents to the audience, preserving vocal and musical style, based on musical structure and vocal phrasing. Development Individual work session (30') on specific repertoire proposed for the student or suggested by the professor. 4. MUSIC AND SCENIC OPERA SCENES WORKSHOP Contents Group workshop of opera scenes of all periods (see OPERA SCENES in menu). Development The student will choose the scenes he wants to work on and after first day audition professors will decide on characters and scenes in relation with the student´s vocality, maturity and ability. Work to be done will have two branches (group sessions for music and scene work) which will be united in the FINAL SCENES CONCERT. Students will work on characters paying attention to psychological, physical and emotional aspects. CONCERTS Performance in the 2 concerts to close the course, one as an ARIAS recital and the second as OPERA SCENES. Professors will decide which students and what repertoire will be performed. |
